I believe from the original link Jem's comments on the issue of odds/probability made on 11/2 11:30 pm and 11/3 1:53 am accurately estimate the expected value.  Aside from misunderstanding of these statistical terms there's apparently a cap of 5 on Category B prizes (the greater pt prizes).

Not exactly. They are randomly assigned to specific times. First to play after that time wins. I'd play when most ppl r asleep :)

The good thing is they won't be giving out more of the $$$$$ prizes, so their exposure is already limited. But I could definitely see them put some sort of cap on the point prizes if many more than expected participate. You don't think there's any legal  way for them to do so?

From DWL: UPDATE: My PR contact at IHG (the one who initially let me know about this promotion), wrote back to me saying “Yes, they will win something each time.” Keep in mind though it is a third-party running the contest, so rules can always get lost in translation too, but I am going to assume the best and assume she is correct.
