sorry for starring a new thread
i have a bris on Friday in Montreal it won't be enough time to travel back to NY for shabbos
any decent places to stay near canada for shabbos ?

he didn't ask for a place near Montreal. He asked for a place near Canada. If he wants to get a little crazy and go a little further out, maybe he should look for a place near the United states

Albany would be the closest option & that's a 3.5 to 4 hour drive. IINM closest hotel is a mile from a shul (there are 2). Montreal has lots of options.

Checked with the chabad rabbi in Saratoga and they are away this week. His brother is the rabbi in Albany thats probably the best option

Although it sounds like you don't want to stay in Montreal, You can stay at the Quality Hotel at a great price. They're right in the frum area. They have kosher breakfast.
