So it's a fake kosher phone? Meaning, you get the kosher number but you still can use sms and internet?

I don't believe so. But you're still paying the same 99 shek. I don't have their kosher plan so someone else will have to comment here.

I thought it was 10NIS/month for kosher

If Golan doesn't sell phones where can you buy the handset?
I don't mind no internet and SMS, but I sure would still like a way to easily backup and sync my contacts.

I am assuming you'd need a previous kosher phone. Also the 10 shek a month plan doesn't include unlimited minutes. There is such a plan though.

Thanks. I don't see any unlimited kosher plan online.

You click on the regular plan. Click to choose your number and check off Massorti Number. If you hover over the question mark there you will see it explains it is a kosher sim. Therefore it will be unlimited minutes without the internet sms etc.

So it seems the kosher "plan" is the same price as the regular plan. I thought I heard it was discounted.

I believe in general kosher plans may be discounted but with Golan I don't think they are.
99 shek for unlimited calling and to USA/Canada plus more still seems pretty "discounted" to me.

Agreed, but I just wanted to make sure. Just makes me feel annoyed that I'm paying the same and getting less, but I guess you have to look at it as getting more- more time for real life instead of playing with your phone.

You do realise that Golan kosher does not really belong to the kosher category in Israel. It just has web and sms barred in the line. But it is not considered a kosher number like 05484/05041/05276-1/.

They give you 058-31 which is supposedly a kosher prefix. What makes a line Kosher besides no SMS or Web plus the blocking of certain phone numbers?

For eg. Many kosher packages have thousands of minutes free to kosher, or unlimited etc. I dont think their numbers are considered kosher. Yet.
