iphone screen broke, and was thinking about getting rid of smartphone anyway.......i need a phone that has waze, google maps, email, text and picture text, and apps availability......basically just dont want browser............never cared for wats app so either way im fine w/o it....the main issue w iphone was the browser would be locked and then i would just ask my wife to open it for a few minutes of chill time and then it would stay open for a little while.....so dont want browser option on phone at all.....

any specific options available? or any known stores to call? or maybe i just need a iphone w a filter not controlled by my wife??

They told me data is $10 a month. I'll update when it arrives.

You're a little unclear... You don't want a smartphone but you really do...

If the issue is the wife opening the browser do the same thing but give the lock to someone (maybe two people, each half the password) that wouldn't just open it.

My concern isn't the data cost, it's the device cost, phones are much cheaper than sim tablets. How much did you pay for the iPad?

I hear it's hard to find 4G kosher phones. The one's that are available are expensive ($250) and 3G doesn't work anywhere anymore.

is there a option to get a phone that i can have everything except for 2 things - 1 - absolutely no browser capability, (i dont want filter, i want it not possible) 2 - a app store that would work w a filter/passcode that someone else could manage

Even the silliest flip phone has a browser but no app store, it's not the other way around. You can block the browser though.

I checked it out and honestly im not so excited about the devices and the whole network...i really just want a iphone with the browser inaccessible no matter what, and the app store downloads to be monitored somehow
