One drive is not the same as backup. It will only upload the files in the Onedrive folder.
p.s. i have seen the amazon cloud option for $60 unlimited, trying to campare based on that.
Do you only need to upload it manually or do you want it to automatically update? IINM you need 3rd party software to automatically upload to Amazon.

Which means that you need to do that each time you add or modify a file. It also means that you need double the space on your device since OneDrive will store them locally.

People here are mixing up file sharing and computer backup.

Dropbox, One Drive, et. al. Are for sharing files, and keeping them synced between devices. By default, the files are backed up to the cloud. But it's a. a very limited system (small space allowances, only sync a specific folder), and b. Completely manual (whatever you want backed up has to be copied into the watched folder).

What OP wants is a backup system. Unlimited (or tremendously high) storage space, complete system backup, and constant monitoring and syncing (incremental backup). For these he'd need Crashplan, Carbonite, or something like that.

Based on OPs requirement for him to be able to access it on Android I'm assuming that he wants the former, a file sharing and syncing with storage. If it was only a system backup like carbonite or the likes mobile sync wouldn't be a requirement IMHO.

Wrong. He asked about 1TB - that's a full system backup. When I chose a backup company mobile access was important as well. In fact I can't think of a single big name in backup who doesn't have a full suite of apps

I've never used a backup solution so I wouldn't know, this is news to me. For somebody that the majority of their files aren't images why would they need mobile access? (hypothetical, I have no clue what OP needs it for)

You can use something like Microsoft SyncToy to have some folders automatically sync with the OneDrive or DropBox etc. folder, but that would mean that each file there is stored twice.

well i guess I might as well answer what I need, since I have lots of images that I constantly need to access, plus pdf files, and I'm rarely by a computer so I want to upload it, so that I can access it anytime, and at the same time have it backed up.
Uploading manually is not a problem as I would upload it once, just has to be easy to use and easy  to organize and find things.
Thanx for  your input.
