I don't see a master thread that discusses this card, only one that discusses blue cash.

Can I use this card to save my MR points when I close all other AF cards?

Yes, you may be limited on the redemption of those points though.

The membership rewards program for the card doesn't allow transfers (it's the lowest tier). They automatically upgrade you to the level of your top card (gold/green/plat/Ed)to give you the higher tier across all your cards. Once cancelled technically this stand alone card would probably go back down to that level. Yes, it can be rectified once you get another top tier card.
