And I've actually praised a DDFer in this convo as well (though based on how normal he seems I would think that being a DDFer isn't as critical to his self identity as it to others here).

 No matter what you or your Philly friends say this story is rotten to the core and yes both RSK and his son ain't looking too good. So if you want to keep believing in your little world in which these people can do wrong that's fine but don't expect that others will be as blind as you.

And no I don't know if any specific  rumors but I do know that based on past behaviors it wouldn't surprise me. The people behind this heter acted not only wrongly but also stupidly so I would t put something like this past them right now.

But I have been privy a little to some behind the scenes stuff here (NOT even from the husbabd's side of things) and when people who call themselves tzadikim act like Chicago mobsters it doesn't leave a good impression.

If he would be making a point that would be one thing. He didn't. All he did was repeat things already discussed ad nauseam. He came and just started writing rudely to and about everyone. That is exactly why he needed a new username. So he can throw around insults and not be held accountable even within the forum. No other reason. Don't convince yourself otherwise.

I have always said on this thread that I think the heter was invalid. But, I objected to the way that Rav Shmuel and Rav Nota were being spoken about. Anyone speaking with such vitriol hate I only assume could only come from being nogea badavar

If someone would make a new identity and talk like a mensch I would have no problem and I have discussed with them. The issue is when they do so to their insults even if there is some substance interspersed with it. It also shows that they are blinded by some sort of agenda even when they do write substance.

And you're so right about AJK. People are almost "intimidated" by his "influence" here. It all comes down to the herd mentality that infects blogs like this (and much of the Internet, in fact) that causes people say/think/do what others tell them to.
