I believe it was taken from his weekly pamphlet and not necessarily a stand alone letter (which he has written already)

He also was on the radio show in case there was any doubt about what he holds.

Except that the letter he posted was confirmed by those who signed except for the forgery which was somehow only posted by those anti-heter.

For many bney (roshei) yeshiva this pesak would be considered the removal of any doubt.

I'm not sure where you see that in this letter. What you see is gedolim have voiced there opinion that there is no validity to the heter.

The Materim who are from the leading poskim in Gitten and leading Rosh Yeshiva in America have not issued any statements. Until they retract and issue some sort of explanation as to exactly what happened there is some doubt as to what the "Hav Amenia" was.

I have heard that while everyone knows that this "heter" didn't pass the smell test, the Roshei Yeshiva who are going to be mocheh required a serious posek to double verify that there is absolutely no limud zechus.
Here they received their final answer.

I think most roshei yeshiva aren't writing letters because they don't get involved in things like this.
