Need Concierge Service

Ok,

anyone else who knows what they're doing, I would appreciate and also compensate any such service.

the needs are:

A. getting the best price, be it money or mileage (that i'd have or that i'd pay for)
B. getting the most comfortable trip

so something within acceptable comfort range and acceptable price range
I don't know my hands from my feet when it comes to flights and hotels, not even how to check prices (milsa zutrasi hi?)

Thant doesn't seem so complicated to need concierge, just make a thread with the dates and cities you're traveling on/to and any other details such as how much mileage you have with which airlines, what your budget is etc. The more you narrow it down, the easier it will be for guys to help, and we've got plenty of them here.

hmmmmm fine.

1. i still dont believe i'll be getting the best best (price & comfort)
2. i'd rather spend a couple bucks and not make myself crazy 

but -

flexible somewhat, depending what a difference it is, need to be there week of 6/15

i would prefer direct (i think, have to make sure though, may be too long of a flight, survey?). if stopping off, possible to stop in nyc for shabbos? or something stress free. i could give them an amex plat card for lounges(?)

my mileage, i'm not sure - 80k delta 80k united 50k mr
but i should be able to get from some people if necessary, i'll have to speak to them. or i could buy if worth it

i have no idea how to do mileage searches, besides on the airlines sites, or the airline's policies etc., but if mileage is the way to go....
also how the hell do i get an upgrade? whats an evip?? how does this lingo translate into $....

i guess thats everything. all i know is how to use expedia, and that aa isnt on it

Concierge cost good money... not a good idea if you want to save money (unless your priority is max comfort and just want to get best bang for the buck), "you can't have the cake and eat it".

Your plat card won't get someone else into the clubs. Names have to match the boarding pass. Have them apply now for them plat

I suggest changing the title of the post to reflect the cities and dates.

You should be able to.

El Al is the only one that flies LAX-TLV direct.
Business Class isn't available on that flight anytime near your dates.

There is availability in First but El Al First Class can't be booked with AA miles so you will have to use Matmid points for first class award. It's 5000 points and you'll also pay a few hundred in fees/taxes.

What is your budget?

a. not much of a budget
b. doesn't have to be direct
and business was just that i wanted an idea, but isn't necessarily so needed

just spoke to jwconcierge, didn't sound like theres anything to talk about. Said they do corporate business travel, wasn't too interested in (helping me) play the mileage game, and basically just offered me travel agent services...

They do know the game but they seem to have gone to play at the Corporate level..
