Graduate school for Psychology
« on: November 09, 2015, 08:05:16 PM »
Anyone out there who has a PhD, PsyD, or have a MS in School Psychology (or currently in school)? I have some questions, and it would be very helpful if I can find someone here currently going through it.
Thanks!

My wife recently graduated with an MS in School Counseling. She did loads of research into various PhD and PsyD programs as well.  I can pass any questions on; feel free to PM.

Interesting.  Did you have to do any internships or the like for licensure?

Ferkauf.
You said PhD, not PsyD, so assuming she's in the Clinical Psychology Health Emphasis program, can you (she?) explain to me what kind of emphasis is put on health, as well what the main differences are between that program and the PsyD in Clinical Psych?
Thanks!
