is there anyway to get platinum top status without actually flying that much? like transfering points ect.

Only whatever it says on that page will count toward status.

I believe it's not possible. You have to earn the points through flying, as even if you have a Flycard only 20% of the points earned through the card are counted for status

Charge 40K ILS a month (can be equivalent annualized average) to an Israeli Fly Card Premium and you will get Platinum. Top Platinum is only through blood, sweat, and tears

Does that even work? I thought that only 20% of points earned from Flycard are counted towards status...

You can only count points earned through the credit card for up to 20% of the requirement and its capped at 500 points.

True, but that is a separate issue.

Once you reach the 40K/month threshold for an entire year, you get Platinum. This has been confirmed in the El Al FT forum. See Hebrew terms below:

קבלת מעמד הפלטינה היוקרתי במועדון הנוסע המתמיד של אל-על (PL)- יוענק ללקוחות אשר יצברו 2,526 נקודות במהלך 12 חודשים רצופים (רכישות בסכום של 40,000 ₪ לחודש בממוצע, ללא ענפים מוחרגים). מעמד הפלטינה יוענק לאחר שהומר סכום הנקודות הנדרש ויהיה בתוקף לשנה מיום קבלתו. במידה ויומר מספר הנקודות הנדרש גם בשנה שלאחר מכן, יחודש מעמד הפלטינה לשנה נוספת

Unfortunately, there is no similar deal for Silver/Gold.

Anyone have a clue what’s going on with Flight 26 on 4/11?

Supposed to be a 787 ewr-tlv, now seems like they change the itinerary to jfk-tlv 777. I booked a pax in premium eco specifically for the 787, anything I can do?

Seems like they have slot issues in EWR. Was switched to JFK with new flight #022, but its still the 787-9
