I just transferred 5K MR to Matmid. My search for for WAW to TLV is on 3/31 is showing as 150 Points in J. Am I doing something wrong? Should it be 75?

Does anyone know, To get elal executive status by transferring 5K Amex points to matmid, do I have to be a silver memer or even if i'm just a regular matmid member without any status would it still work?

Does the account have a US address on file? Rate is 690k in Y and 1750 in J, I think.

You can have a TA hold it and call LY to have it issued under any name.

OK. So I just got the email confirmation of Executive status, and am able to book for the reduced points.

Is there any way to see seat availability map prior to booking? The person I am booking for puts a high importance on the seat, so might pick a flight based on the seat she can get, rather than schedule.

Also, anyone have any recommendations/experience for booking travel medical insurance for an 84 year old Israeli Citizen coming to the US? What's the best way to go, for most coverage and reasonable pricing?
