Yes they can. They gave my mom a hard time because I only booked her a one way, but I quickly booked a return flight on points and they let her through (then obviously cancelled the return flight).

I was part of a group trip to Israel next week which has now been cancelled and tentatively rescheduled to Nov. 2024.

I have a ticket with El Al to the USA with the dates where they are now allowing credit (through Oct 31). I understand that this credit will be valid for 1 year from booking date. As I am not in Israel, it is likely that I won't be able to use credit by the expiration date of the credit, and will not be able to use it for rescheduled trip. Are there other options that are available? Partial cash refund or other possibilities?

Is Alaska my best bet to credit an ELAL flight to? Flying Business one way and Premium (B) the way back.
