I got a Elal voucher of $250

It says non transferable, does that really mean i can't book for someone else?

And if not, can I pay the taxes of an award ticket with it?

Flew about 2 months ago Roundtrip from TLV-LAX on elal. I don't have a Matmid account and don't rlly want to open one. Any other airline I can get retroactive credit for flying Elal?

I don't know about retro credit, but IINM SAA (*A) and QF (OW) are both ELAL partners.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

When I look for a roundtrip, one option is: Economy – special fare *limited edition, which is slightly cheaper. I remember seeing months ago people were talking about this but didn't pay much attention... Can anyone fill me in now?

thanks

Any way around paying "Unaccompanied minor" fees for a 14 yr old?

Alternatively, does anyone know someone on her flights: Mon Aug 1st, Newark- TLV 1:30pm, or early Tues morning Aug 23rd, 12:30AM TLV-Newark.

Send her on her own. My 14 yo daughter travelled on her own last week, no problem. We took her to the airport, gave her instructions, and she was picked up at the other end...

The problem is not with her flying alone, its trying to avoid paying the "Unaccompanied minor" charges.

Does elal economy allow you to bring on a wheelie carry as well as a backpack?

My experience is I had no problems doing it (ever) but supposedly a backpack does not count as a personal  item, like purse or laptop case.

I tried last summer taking a briefcase and a rolling bag and was told that next time, I could only bring one carryon.

They did give me stickers at the checkin for them, with no problem. The rolling bag may have even been a bit overweight.

I saw that yesterday's LY2 from JFK was operated by HI FLY on a A345.

Was anyone on the flight, any feedback?

I checked the company's website and honestly their J looks incredibly better than LY or PS
