I have had that too.  Got rebooked on an award flight and got miles for the outbound even though I didn't go

AA baggage services found the tablet Rafi was using, I couldn't believe it.
I asked that it be sent ground or the cheapest method possible. Stressed that 3 times on the recorded phone call.

They sent it Overnight 8am First Delivery and now I'm out $91  >:( >:( >:(
