So where do we stand with AA even attempting to make this up to the customer? And has your luggage been found somewhere?

Andaz: Points+suite upgrade refunded.

1701 Kitchen: "Unfortunately your order is 95% ready as a week with the sabbath coming in so early we prepare it 24 hours ahead of time ready for delivery early the next day - obviously I will stop the delivery going to the hotel.  Are you planning to rebook your trip to London any time soon?

Your account has already been credited but we could honour it with a credit on the account for next time you visit"

Matt: "Hi Daniel
I'm really sorry to hear about you having to cancel your trip, that's really bad luck. I have refunded your tour, and I hope you are able to come back another time and enjoy London.
Kind Regards
Matt"

Heimishe car service: Called and whatsapped me countless times to make sure I know how to tell them to put me on another flight :D
No issues cancelling.

Harry Potter/WB Tour: "Thank you for your email. This is an automated response to provide reassurance that your email has been received and will now be passed to the relevant department to enable them to respond. "

We each got automated emails late last night apologizing for the delay and offering 20K AA miles pp.
Haven't pursued compensation further.

From the TR, "And finally we were given tickets back to Cleveland at 9:15am from LGA along with a car service voucher. "

How was that? I had a horrible experience with the company AA contracts for car service from JFK. AA told me they'd take me to NJ, but none of the drivers wanted to go to NJ so they all cancelled on me after I got in the car. Finally, after 2 hours of complaining by me to their manager, I got a guy willing to take me to their queens headquarters, where I'd be transferred to another car willing to go to NJ. When I got in the second car, the driver asked if I brought and EZ pass or had cash to pay for tolls  ;D ;D ;D

Was fine, car was an ancient Nissan minivan and I had to ask that he turn off the blasting music, but no major complaints.

I would just like to point out that it's really generous of 1701 kitchen to give you credit toward a future visit. They most likely will have to throw out all that food. Places in NY/NJ wouldn't give u back a dime. Probably charge you extra to dispose of the food!!!

I wouldn't take the credit from them but rather pay them for the work they did & reimburse my expense with the insurance company.

Nee? Zilch?

And the crazy thing here is that there is NO one to talk with besides some clueless phone agents. There is no one running around in JFK looking for the bags like it should be, when someone will finally bump in to the bags and will check it out than you will get it back. I had twice lost bags in EWR and after 2 days waiting I just went down my self to EWR to the baggage claim dept they have a big room with bags all over the place and both of the times the bags were there. Maybe have someone who you can explain how the bags look like go down to JFK?

Nothing.
They say 2 bags were last seen in ORD and 2 bags they have no data on.
CLE says they have nothing.

What's the max coverage they'll offer if they're never located?  And how long before they give up looking and cut a check?
