Platinum concierge told me today, they are extending the expiration on the 2011 certs till the end off march, since they are behind sending out the new packages (I think we know why

) but the 2012 will show up online tomorrow. and can be redeemed.

I picked the same except for the complimentary golf lesson I got the box of teas ( are they kosher ? )
The reason being since all the certs like golf and spa have to be used within the year and I don't know where I'm going to be staying at .

I got the box of teas last year.

No hechsher on them but they are mostly pure tea so some hold it doesn't need one.

I am sure most of you are aware that Chase is going to issue a Chase Fairmont credit card. It looks like it will be points based. I am sensing that our cherished Lifetime Plat status may get "enhanced". Any comments?

Yup, I'm sure it will start getting harder to find availability

I've had great luck getting hotels to open up standard room availability, hopefully they will stay that accommodating.

Most chase cards do not charge the annual fee for the first year.
SP and the new IB don't charge forex fee.

Personally I'd prefer this card over the Hyatt for the signup bonus. Anyone have any luck getting (comped) kosher breakfast for Fairmont? Was status a factor?
