Author Topic: Earn Exclusive Google Perks, Including as Much as 1TB of Google Drive Storage (Read 10087 times)

Their goal is that you put 1TB of data there, and after 2 years it'll be too much of a hassle to move elsewhere so you'll pay them to keep it there.

The hoops you jump through to qualify are just there to make you want it more.

If this is like the extra storage you get with a new Chromebook, they will not remove your data that you have in your extra storage. Rather, after 2 years you lose whatever empty storage you have (and when you delete anything from you extra storage that space will be lost too).

Then you can't get any emails until you delete lots of stuff?

Yes, didn't think of that, but since gmail and drive are now using the same storage space, you'd won't be able to send or receive any email until you go under your free limit.
