Yes zero ideals! If anyone can tell me what he truly believes (or even what his policies that he'll act based on) about topics such as abortion, gay marriage, minimum wage, healthcare, tariffs and price wars, I'd greatly appreciate it. The fact alone that he can flip flop on such policies and just say what he believes wants to be heard, is enough to say he has zero ideals (other than polls/ratings).

While I can agree to an extent that leadership is probably the most important attribute (which is how I ended up voting for Bloomberg despite the fact that I can't stand him and a lot of his policies). However, at a certain point positions do matter.

AFAIK realizing that Hashem runs the show and ultimatley controls my fate does not preclude me from taking the steps to determine it, but this is really a discussion for elsewhere....

However, it is important that any hishtadlus is always done with the proper humility and understanding that I do what the Aibershter wants me to do with the tools given to me, and that certain things are beyond that. Which is why I have stated that if I were to live in a state where my vote would count for anything, I would ask a ROV, not an askan or political analyst, what I should do.

At any rate I didn't say I wouldn't vote, I'm undecided at this point.
