You are nuts.

I'm going to vote for Hillary the crook over Donald the fascist.
Here's an interesting take:
http://www.salon.com/2016/03/08/hillarys_inevitability_lie_why_the_media_and_party_elites_are_rushing_to_nominate_the_weakest_candidate/

Being a Brooklynite, it's all just one big show, as my vote is not likely to count, but if Sanders survives until the NY Primaries, he's got my vote (not because I like or agree with any of his policies - Chas V'Sholom, but because I think that ultimately the USA will not elect an openly communist candidate).

I happened to be in the car for a few minutes yesterday, and heard a good insight from Rush Limbaugh: The Republican elites keep on saying that a real conservative (someone like Cruz) cannot win a general election, and we need someone that can bring in moderates and Dems, now they actually have someone like that in Trump, and they're all fighting against him, when he's exactly what they've been wishing for.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Not sure if he was buying the politicians or not, just because Cruz says so does not mean that I have to believe it.

But either way, here again is his common sense, I did not expect him being an idiot seeing everyone partying and he should stay out! But he saw what is going on, he did not like it, and that is why HE is here now to fight it.
Man oh man you really think that's why he is running for president? Honestly?? The guy spent his whole life on 2 things his money and ego and all of a sudden he decided to give thar up and save the country?

I heard him say that before and to b fair trump is not what the establishment ever wanted. Pretty ridiculous claim

As the saying goes: "Be careful what you wish for, you might end up getting it"

The establishment DIDN'T want any real conservative, and WANTED someone that might get Dems to vote for him. That is exactly what Trump is, they wished for it, and they're getting it, but they're regretting it!

I actually think that Cruz vs Hillary or Cruz vs Sanders could both have Cruz win (though I think Cruz vs Sanders is much more dangerous/interesting, as both could energize the base in ways that even Obama didn't see). Ultimately, I think most of this country believes in real American values, rather than these "Progressive" "Socialist/Communist" values, but the way our Presidential election goes, it's not about the popular vote, so I really don't know how it might go.

I think Cruz vs Hillary, with the right campaign on Cruz's side, could be very nice and interesting, and possibly put this country back on track.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

I don't think he is a fascist, his bark is a lot harsher then his bite.
I agree that he's not a true partisan conservative but I don't think he is a liberal either.
I think he believes in common sense (almost said common core lol), and that's his true political standing.
It just so happens to be that many common sense policies are in line with the republican side of the aisle. But on occasion when the Dems are the ones with the common sense he may agree with them.
This is why he flip flops sometimes because unbiased common sense opinions tend to evolve.
It's the same reason why he's not giving clear cut policies on many issues, it's because he doesn't have them yet, he is not checking off a list of partisan views he is supposed to be having, he will wait until he is in the Oval Office and see all the facts and variable and make the common sense decisions then.
He should really be starting a new party called the "common sense party". (I would say CSP, but that's already reserved for chase sapphire :)

Only difference is that they are not actually common sense.

I wouldn't put it this way, he's running for one and only one reason and that is that he has had all the luxury and fun the world has to offer, he had it all, so now he wants to become POTUS just to satisfy his hunger for fame,

Now, to his luck our country is troublled in a lot of ways so he has what to offer to the American people (and he might actually try to solve them being he's bound to politicians and lobbyists),

The big question is, once he'll be sworn in and he'll achieve his goal to become the "President of the United States of America" will he still have any interest in fighting and fighting to fix our issues or he'll just enjoy his position and won't be willing to actually work hard,

After all he's not a patriotic politician who ever did anything for our country, he loves to enjoy life and fill his pockets.....

How will you know whether Trump's will be until he starts telling you what they are? Obama thinks they are common sense.

Well said.
No one is ready to make himself look like a fool,  I don't care if he'll do it because of his loyalty to the American people or because he wants more attention but he'll have to show something for "we the people" ,  he has no choice but to build a wall otherwise he'll be a clown (if he's not yet)  the same is with other things,  he'll definitely try his best.

As an aside where do you think trump is going to get the Billion + dollars that it will take to compete in the general election?
great point. How does everybody miss that step. He himself admits that for the general election he will be "changing gears" and will fund his campaign with political contributions.
