Its a fragmented party that merely belies the outdated 2 party system.

Trump appeals the same way all dictators appeal.

First he promises things he cant or wont keep, stuff like deporting US born children is probably a constitutional violation. I doubt his wall is feasible or even viable option.

He tells people that NAFTA costs US jobs and he does not provide tangible alternative to any thing he rails about.

Kasich can parrot what he did in Ohio, but he does not flaunt his failures, lie in your office that they were accomplishments.... Water, Steaks, Trump U etc those were blatant lies... although he must have bribed Chris Christie with quite a few steaks.

i'll leave this here http://southpark.cc.com/clips/104259/they-took-our-jobs

1. Trump is charismatic and dictators are charismatic. Therefore Trump must be a dictator.

2. Trump would win the most or second most seats in a parliamentary system too.

3. When had Trump ever said he would deport US citizens? I've seen it mentioned here a number of times (including the rabbi) without any backup.

4. A wall is both feasible and viable, and in case you didn't know, Cruz and Rubio also support the wall.

5. He's addressed NAFTA a number of times.  He said he would negotiate a separate trade deal with each country.

6. Trump clearly said the water, steak, and magazine companies only catered to his own venues. They are not failed businesses just because Mitt can't find them in his local grocery.
If you don't care why would you comment?

Meh. If you sold a great product, would you limit it that severely?

Many hotels have their own soaps. If they don't sell it elsewhere it means the soap is bad?

I get the feeling that Kasich would rather remain governer than be VP but I could be wrong.
Hard too imagine. Plus they don't have term limits?

Trump has valid logical points... i.e. you break the law, you forfeit the rights but he clearly tries to use rhetoric to argue a constitutional law.

See:

Quote
O'Reilly also asked Trump whether he would be interested in changing the language of the Constitution to comport with how he sees the citizenship issue.

"It's a long process, and I think it would take too long," Trump responded. "I'd much rather find out whether or not 'anchor babies' are actually citizens, because a lot of people don't think they are."

So why hasent Trump assembled a legal team to research it ? because he is basically ridding a wave of popular feelings, legal or not, he doesnt care, nor do most people.

No matter where you look, the guy is a liar

Also he never had or has a chance to win the presidency even if he was handed the nomination through a contested convention. I assume he has been running for vp the whole time.

Sorry to interrupt the fun, but could we make an effort at spelling?
It may even get your (not "you're"!) opinions to be taken a bit more seriously... ;)

I disagree. Don't be surprised to see a Trump/Kasich ticket.

+1 Kasich's only play is to make a deal with Trump. Kasich is not helping to prevent Trump rack up delegates. He kept 66 delegates from Trump last night, but in IL he gave Trump about 50, and 30-40 more in Missouri. Just last night he gave Trump more than he prevented him from getting in Ohio. In Michigan he gave the win to Trump too. You can argue that he's going for Trump VP, or 2nd/ 3rd ballot at the convention, but you can't argue his staying in is helping to keep delegates from Trump.

Won't that new rule (I think Rule 40) most probably prevent anyone else besides Trump from being considered?

Rule 40 is only for the first ballot at the convention, and Cruz will probably qualify. But even if Trump is the only one up for consideration, he would still need over 50% of delegates, or else it goes to 2nd ballot where the rule doesn't apply.

1. The same weay she has gotten more from Michigan wher Sanders won. The Dems primary votes are not very meaningful with Superdelegates all going one way
2. They award delegates by congressional district

That's probably not the real numbers. Missouri is doing absentee etc. Ballots, and possibly a recount. Both R and D races were margins of less than 2k.

It's how the Democrat party apparatus keeps an iron grip on party control.

After what he owes all the other dropped out candidates for endorsing him, does he still have any positions left for Kasich?

Yes, because the others have no leverage being that they already dropped out. It's not a stretch for Trump to reneg on any deal. Besides, I doubt he promised Carson or Christie vp.
