That's the logical outcome at this point. This is beyond logic, though. The polls thus far haven't been so accurate.

Eh, they haven't been too bad. They've been pretty stable since the fall. I don't trust the accuracy of the Emerson poll in particular, though, given how different it is from other polls across the board.

Polls also showed both the D and R primaries in OH being nail-biters.
So much for that.

Kasich had a modest lead in polls coming up to Oh. Then Rubio told voters to vote for him, giving kasich a few more points. Don't think they were too bad on republican side.

In any case I invested a nice couple of dollars in Trump: Yes. https://www.predictit.org/Market/1233/Who-will-win-the-2016-Republican-presidential-nomination

I think he will pull out a win, will see...

Kasich could definitely win OH and just that could be enough to have an election where nobody wins 270.
Same goes for someone popular in any swing state.
Problem with your whole theory is that it's already very late in the game for a third party candidate to get on ballots in all states. ..

They would need to use an existing third party such as the conservative party.

1. I said could definitely.
2. Maybe, maybe not.
3. It was an example. "Same goes for someone popular in any swing state."

FL and/or OH going "I" could definitely put the Presidency into Paul Ryan's hands to decide.
Would it really be in Paul Ryan's hands?
It seems that the house would be limited to choosing between the top 3 candidates.

You cannot enable voters to retract? That saves much hassle, especially when it's narrowing as time progresses.

I think clearing the poll and revoting is best. People's first and second choices often change as candidates drop out and the race narrows.

I don't think a vote for Trump comes from logic or reasoning, it is an emotional vote, similar to a teenager rebelling or experimenting with things. In most cases appealing to logic will not help.

I think everyone here can relate to the feelings that lead people to support Trump. We're all fed up with Politicians, Insiders, RINOs, etc. etc. etc.. Trump is addressing those feelings. That is where he draws his support. It is all emotions driven.

A billion here and billion there, and all of the sudden we are talking some real money!

Billions are a relic of the past, in today's day and age we don't consider anything that isn't in the trillions.
