Path to GOP nomination is very different than the Presidency.
An R today needs to be nearly perfect to get the electoral votes needed and Trump is miles away from mediocre, let alone perfect.

Gosh, I hope he wins. It will be a disaster if Hillary wins.

Polls really don't look good for him but hey - we're 5 months to the elections and a lot of things can change to his favor.

You seems to be missing the stuff coming out against the Clintons, today the news came out what she said about Jews and other minority groups and soon there is this book coming out against the Clintons which is best seller since it is on preorder. Let alone if there is an indictment coming.

A book about the 17th Bill Clinton mistress and that Hillary uses curse words and gave her cheating husband a black eye 20 years ago will influence exactly 0 people to change their vote.
Have you seen the latest fundraising numbers? The latest poll numbers?

This is going to get ugly in a hurry unless the delegates vote for an alternate candidate.

When Trump was up a couple of weeks ago everyone was saying how it is a clinching bump and that Hillary would have the same. Now that she does in conjunction with what was certainly a bad week for Trump it is decisive?

i was a big trump fan but now he has a big problem he doesn't know how to manage the general election he has no money clinton is investing big in the swing states while trump is busy mocking the judge/ muslims instead of bringing all stuff out on clinton and just focus on her big problems she got

He's been talking since the beginning how he's self financing, so the little guys ain't sending in. The traditional GOP supporters can't stand him. He's gonna have to sell himself out to the lobbyists. He'll do it eventually. Meanwhile, he has unlimited free media coverage. However, he can't control what they say about him. He hasn't had anything positive happen in a week, so they're printing only negative stuff about him. That's why he "fired" his campaign manager; just to get a story out there of him acting more presidential, and to get attention off his comments on current events.

Yes, I still have my head in the sand. Could you try to be a little less condescending?

Again, not sure what that statement about Kasich is based on. Even if some national poll showed that to be true (and even if that poll had been taken more recently) it still doesn't mean anything because it is a national poll, and in presidential elections only the state level matters.

Can someone explain to me how this passes for a legitimate poll? Trumps beats Clinton in his own party, in the opposite party, and among independents, yet Clinton wins by 9%. They surveyed far more Dems than Repubs!!
