According to AC regulations, it is too big. I want to know if they actually enforce it

Don't bring the stroller to the check in counter. Unlikely anyone will stop you at security

The question I'm usually asked (by all airlines) about my stroller is if it's one piece. Two piece strollers can't usually be gate-checked.
No personal experience with AC though.

Check-in agent.

Was told multiple times that a two-piece has to be checked in. (I have a one piece)

if your referring to a two piece stroller as in a snap n go and a car seat, then i can tell you that i did that 5 times with no issue. just take it to the plane and check it in there

Exactly-they say it has to be checked in. But it can be gate checked. They just don't want to. If you don't bring the stroller to the check in desk, you won't have any problems

+1.  Especially true on AA flights.  Although on your way home, feel free to bring it to the check in desk at TLV -- they don't care even a little.
