Aeroplan OneWay Awards

Anyone have any experience using these? I am looking at doing an AMEX MR transfer but I want oneway and they seem to be the only Star carrier that allows oneways. The problem is the booking engine online isn't letting me do it. Thoughts?

From my experience with Aeroplan on their own metal is the availability is far less for a one way the a RT

I may be wrong but I was under the impression that Aeroplan only allows one ways on their own metal, not on star alliance awards.

Anyone know for sure?

You can transfer AMEX to Singapore Airlines for a One-Way but keep in mind that they consider US Business as First Class

I just did a 10K one way on AC metal from YYZ-ORD and taxes were over $100 per person. Makes you wonder..
