SPG GOLD here just got confirmation of match to Hyatt Diamond.

I DMd @ Hyatt Concierge on Twitter who instructed me to send a screenshot via email of my SPG status and a stay within the last year.

Here are some facts:

SPG:
Platinum will be given HY Diamond status.
Gold will be given HY Platinum status.

Hilton:
Gold will be given HY Platinum status.

These are the only 2 programs they are matching from, expect a delay of 24-72 hours for the status to show up.

Has anyone just emailed them directly asking what the terms are for status matching? I feel like that's the best way to get a clear answer as opposed to trial and error.

I just got the following email from Hyatt

SPG Gold. I know people personally who did also and got matched. I obviously replied to them. Could be they were being antisemitic (see the agent's name)?

My response said they need confirmation of at least 1 stay. The screenshot I emailed them had my account summary, complete with the tier and # of stays YTD...

So clearly there're different responses from different agents. That's why I replied to them.
