I bought a 960 gb useing it for  a laptop

Don't use it for non backed up data. And don't expect too long of a life for it. Unfortunately there isn't much good choices for a cheap SSD, they are either too small or too expensive.

Even these ssds have great life length, the old ssds had very few write/erase cycles but these should by far outlive any computer they're used in

Dude, they have TLC!! Unless you barely fill it up, and only use small files - I wish you the best of luck.

According to this article the estimated rated lifespan for 960gb is 51 years and that's with an average of 20gb written per day, which is double the average according to this article

Calling @dhdatarecovery. Help me out here. This is probably true however that's for the entire drive. There is a reason they only offer 3 year warranty. You may have corrupt data once in a while.

Ssds are designed to write evenly accross all blocks

So what's the final here,  is it a need to invest in a more expensive ssd then this one?

@dh data recovery. Have you seen any good deals on mid size SSDs?

What do you consider mid sized? Newegg has an Intel 480GB SSD for about $139 - Intel SSD are usually pretty solid
