so how do we get our money back ? I paid paypal they still have my money ( status is unclaimed)

but when i go to  http://resolutioncenter.ebay.com  and click on I bought an item >> I haven't received it yet >>  Select the item you need help with >>

I get:

PayPal reports that a case should not be opened......We're sorry there's an issue with this purchase. Unfortunately, PayPal reports that we can't open a case for this item.You can try to work out this problem by contacting the seller.


any ideas what to do here ?




btw they they actually had about 20 separate listings under 4 different sellers selling about 300 units per listing (looks like 6000 units sold! ) see link below

ok so i just called eBay they said the funds are in unclaimed and if i see a cancel transaction button that will solve it ( no button so they gave me paypals # and i called Paypal @ 888-221-1161 )

Paypal said it will take 10 days to get back my money......I told them it was clearly a scam, the money is even unclaimed and i cant wait that long .... they transferred me to the security team and they got my refund done on the spot

money back in my account !! yay

Im having all the same issues...I really did not expect this much trouble...ebay sent me an email saying they canceled the sale due to fraud yet they direct me to the resolution center that wont accept the sale for review and paypal resolution is taking time...

Sorry to those who read my previous post about ebay being "amazing about fraud and returning peoples money"...I really am surprised with the amount of frustration from his.  As a seller ive been screwed over but I never had this many issues on the buyer side.

I guess its a lesson learned...

True...It takes me three sec. to file a dispute.. it just shouldn't have to be even a 3 minute hassle.. when ebay sent the email that they detected fraud w/ the seller and they were canceling the sale -> the $ should of been refunded immediately and automatically.

From my PayPal account, it looks like the charge was auto reversed. Don't see the credit on my CC yet, but that's to be expected.
