Online they are only accepting applications for Ocean County, Monmouth County, Middlesex County, and Mercer County. All residents of NJ can likely apply in-branch even if you don’t live in those counties. We verified this is possible thanks to reader Eric. It may be possible for residents of other states to apply in-branch, but we have no data points.

Data point - I did this back in June and did 30 transactions on amazon by loading up on 50 cents, and never got the bonus. I called them and they said those Amazon purchases were coded as debit or credit (i don't remember which) and therefore don't qualify. 👿 so be careful

You can change the way amazon codes in it payment preferences.

I didn't get my bonus either. I did $0.50 amazon gift card loads, but they then told me the purchases needed to be $2 or more.
