Anyone into Memrise here?
« on: November 30, 2015, 03:19:51 AM »
For those who don't know Memrise, its a free platform to learn in a (semi) fun way different things.
What's more, it actually is an excellent want to internalize information, be it foreign languages, capital cities or other information.
There is a free app for IOS and Android (to signup for courses, one should be on their site)

As I saw by some youth nowadays that some very basic Jewish knowledge is (very) poor, I've decided to try building some courses covering such subjects.

I'd be very happy if I got some feedback on them, and even happier if people would help me on this journey to broaden peoples knowledge on the subject.

Courses so far created:

PS: I know there are some minor bugs (hebrew related),where the last letter/punctuation, jumps to the begin of the sentence. Any workaround would be very much appreciated.

PPS: My son which is sub bar mitsvah, learned in a short period of time an amazing amount of info. one can add friends to compete scores, which he now does classmates, and it B"H seems addictive. (I got him a basic android phone, with all blocked, except wifi for the Memrise app)

I've been using it for languages just it's too slow of an item to learn languages from but for the curriculum that you want go right ahead it's probably good...
