Amazon prime not working

I just placed an order on amazon and prime did not apply. It showed prime eligible on the order screen but it showed 14 dollars for 2 days shipping.

I am calling them now.

Had this an hour ago. Chatted- it's a known issue. I was told to place the order then they'll credit me the shipping. (Seemingly not automatically).

Then I went to place the order and that time it recognized the Prime and didn't charge.

Amazon site has been having issues for a while now. I waited a while & refreshed several times until it worked. At first I couldn't even get to checkout.

Called them got the charge removed + 5 dollars credit.
