Just had a very lengthy conversation with one of the Allstate agents I am working with.

He had a conference call this morning with some top guys at Allstate regarding the business. B.H. all of the business we submitted was squeaky clean. Whoever got a policy issued has nothing to fear. However, they did point out some "anomalies" and mentioned that going forward, if anything is not 100% OK, he could risk losing his Allstate contract.

We were always very careful to make sure business submitted through us is clean, and indeed some of the "red flags" that they mentioned about the applications coming through were totally inapplicable to our business. They did says that future business (ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT ON THIS) will be scrutinized, and he will be held accountable for anything incorrect.

So, while we were always careful to submit clean legitimate business, no-one wants to hurt another Yid חס ושלום, so we will be extra careful going forward to make sure that there is absolutely nothing they can come back about! We are confident that we will be able to help a majority of people wanting to apply, we will have to turn away some. But if you are serious about this, don't delay and get moving, tomorrow is Friday and we don't work afternoon. After that we only have one week to go.

Allstate notified their agents right before Shabbos that they will not accept any application submitted after 12 midnight tonight January 16.

Accidental probably doesn't qualify as life insurance from NYS legal perspective.

Why in the world would you cancel insurance after one month? Don't you think your family should be protected? I would imagine that if you google "term life insurance quotes" you will come up with many places looking to sell.

So we should try to work it out to figure out this deal the cheapest and fastest way. We have spoken to many people in the last few weeks that WANTED to get life insurance, but as we all know, the decision gets pushed off, as it is not top priority for most people. The Allstate plan was a great blessing for many people, as it got them to finally get their act together and look at the proper life insurance coverage for themselves.

We had many people that already had life insurance apply with us, and many that did not, or didn't have $1,000,000. Thanks to Allstate they took some time to revisit their own life insurance, and many of them chose to get proper coverage, which they wanted and will keep regardless of the Allstate plan.

Based on our experience, most families with 2 or more children should probably have AT LEAST $1,000,000 of life insurance.

If the policies in question would have involved non-Guaranteed elements or would rely on dividends, this would probably signify a move towards guarantees. However since these policies were guaranteed products with no upside or downside, they should remain exactly the same.

One thing that is likely to go away IMHO is the ability to pay by CC (which is rather unique to Allstate).
