I got a letter about this. IIRC servicing will remain with Allstate for a certain period (my guess is not very long), so while Allstate is servicing I am guessing we can still make CC payments.

I don't think so. Unless you mean pay annual premium a month or two early. But you can definitely call and find out.

Same is true for all of my seasoned Whole Life policies.

Unfortunately, one can expect a deterioration in service. I don't know if Wilson accepts CC payments as Allstate did.

I have one client that found some random name listed as the owner on his annual bill.

Fortunately, this product is a 100% guaranteed product, so there could be no change in terms, whatever one signed up for, is what they still have (except for the company). If one runs into issues with Wilson, I recommend complaining to the BBB as well as the NYS Insurance Commissioner.

The sale to Wilson actually took place quite a while ago, but for the first year or so after the sale, Allstate was still servicing the policies. That is no longer true.

Received my two bills in the mail yesterday and the due date was already the 17th.. Wilton Reassurance Liife Company of NY who took over these policies looks like an extremely sloppy operational company. Also, no website or phone number on the documents and barely any info on it. Rated F by the BBB, no wonder.

EVERYONE who owns these policies and got a bill from Wilton. PLEASE complain to NY regulators as well as the BBB.

This company has no clue how to run a retail service operation. They should not be servicing the policies.

That was my guess.. Although usually policies have a like a 30 day grace period but none was disclosed on the statement. Even searching online doesn't get you proper results.

Very shady stuff. I got a cancellation notice in the mail when I obviously never requested one. Called them they said oh sorry must’ve been a mistake. Beware

Is there any way to look up my policy online?  I have not recieved a statement yet from wilton but want to call and pay instead of waiting. anyone know the best number to reach wilton about this?
