You can transfer from Amex to Iberia but you'll have to wait 90 days to transfer from there to BA.

I would strongly advise anyone who has done this transfer to move them to BA asap in order to avoid Iberia clawing the extra 25% back.

I would assume the mistake is on Amex' end, not Iberia.

Is this dead then? Wanted to take advantage of this but my points weren't made available by AMEX in time. We're never going to see another 56.25% Avios bonus... This now isn't so much a bonus as it is bringing it back to the regular level at 1:1 (on par with Chase and pre-October 1 AMEX)

Any logical reason why I can't seem to get the "Combine Points" function to work? It always errors out on BA.com, even before asking me for any IB account information.

Try logging out and logging back in again. Combine My Avios is VERY touchy. Sometimes you just have to wait.

Anyway, if this extra 25% is dead, I'm going to hold onto my MR, because I can get a 1:1 to BA from Chase (who never has transfer bonuses). I'll wait for another transfer bonus on another partner.
