I have a feeling that you mix up sleeve and gastric bypass, which I agree..The bypass is a more dangerous surgery and it keeps you vitamin deficient for life.
With sleeve, you basically eat less....No harm in that. I always wanted to be able to feel full, was always upset that I am still hungry after eating.
Nope, not mixing them up. Each have their own benefits but both could be quite dangerous after the initial 'high'. I didn't even discuss the ulcers that could develop, rejection of meds, etc. I'm sure your surgen, nutritionist, and team discussed those things with you and how to hopefully avoid problems down the line. But take their every word very seriously and follow then to a tee.
One last thing is to keep every single follow-up appointment (including the annuals). Yes, they may be a pain (shlepping to the city, sitting in waiting rooms) and costly (missing work, co-insurance) but trust me, you don't want to end up like the many people I know.
