Grand family reunion/shabbaton

Hi there,

We were looking to do a family reunion/Shabbaton for our grand mothers 80th birthday.

We will like to have a place exclusive for our group we will need around 30 double rooms or suites ready to accommodate around 80 people from 0-80 years of age.

We will need a few meeting rooms and a big dining hall and an indoor swimming pool.

We will be doing outside catering for all food and will need access to a kitchen.

Did anyone do such a size reunion before? Can anyone please recommend me a place?
It can be any where from Brooklyn NY to Montreal (half the family is in NY and half is in Montreal...)

You can rent out a mansion for a weekend.  I've had relatives do it twice. Once in Pennsylvania somewhere and another time near Montreal.

I never said it's impossible, just close to that.
 A mansion that
1) has 30 rooms with proper bed layout
2) dining room and meeting for with seating for 80
3) indoor pool
4) exclusive access
5) full size kitchen
Isn't gonna be simple to come by.
If the indoor pool gets dropped then it makes things much simpler

I have seen a Mansion in Monsey or near advertising for something like this kind of event.

the monsey mansions have around 15 bedrooms iinm. besides for vrbo you can also rent out small hotels or camps like JEP or raleigh. theres also a yeshiva in saratoga springs that rents out their premises for shabbatons

Sheraton Parcippany is nice. Debbie Stella is a pleasure to deal with there. They have seen it all with Yidden too. You cant surprise them

Thats why they now have flyers that slow cookers and hotplates being used in the rooms will be confiscated.

Ohr Somayach in Monsey has 22 rooms with double beds. If the rest are kids people put sleeping bags on the gym floor.... You choose from a list of ten or so caterers.
Also haven't seen any rentals that size come up on any rental search.
Another option is Bushkill Inn in the Poconos. You probably will not have the whole hotel, but they have a kosher caterer and can do some separate swimming.

I am in touch with camp Neggila and it seems like our best option as they have everything on my list of requirements and it's a Jewish place which will avoid all problems of Kosher and Shabbos.

Sheraton in Scranton was very accommodating when we did it. gave us the first two floors and the conference rooms & kitchens in the basement. Location was perfectly suited for the winter i.e. close to ski resorts etc.

So many nice places also on airbnb... we are looking to do this in the summer and im curious myself about how we are going to handle many of the things you mentioned.
