I think there are people who upgrade from BGR to Plat Biz to get airline fees, then downgrade back to BGR and upgrade again. While that might be unethical/abusing, it's not violating any T&C set by Amex. If they want to stop it, why don't they just set a policy of no PC in 6 months or something?

You can't downgrade and upgrade. Once you've gotten the credit once that year as a platinum, the same account can't get it again.

not going to get technical with this as I dont know, what I DO know is that there is a new system in place that filters all your bonuses & they see EVERYTHING. So a note to all gamers.. Indian reps are your friend.. Americans are back stabbers 

FYI  When I asked Amex for GW recently they were very aggressive , and told me we see you got 3-400K
GW this year alone .

I corrected them saying that was me responding to promo bonus targeted card offers , but they sounded indignant . I don't ask for GW or retention any more .

I sold them and that was where the broker wanted them
