Why does clicking on an app notification sometimes take much longer to load the deal in the app compared to loading a DDMS deep link/permalink to the same deal?

Also, when clicking the back button after clicking a notification, it doesn’t go back to the previous DDMS page that was being viewed, it seems to back to the Home Screen of the app.

I got some alerts before the deal showed up online or on the app. Was able to access the page by clicking on the phone notification.

I had to wipe and restore my Pixel 5 running Android 14.  Since then I have not gotten any DD app alerts; I've reinstalled several times and ensured that notifications are enabled, both in the app and on the phone settings, and I am getting other notifications without issues

Are there any other troubleshooting steps out there to try?

I have an issue on edge, where I cant either get notifications to work on DansDeals.com. I tried A LOT of things....
