Anyone know how you can make sure your rental is 4WD?

If I just choose an SUV, some SUV's are not 4WD...

Try calling the local rental office to see if you can reserve a specific model. They may charge extra, no idea.

I'd believe if you select "full size SUV" you'd get a 4WD. Suburban, Expedition, etc.

+1 most car rentals SUVs are 4wd especially the USA cars are all 4wd I believe

However, I don't want a full size SUV those are too big, I want a mid size SUV and some of them are not 4WD.

gmc terrain- AWD, Ford edge - AWD among others
