Depends on how often you can go on EK F going forward considering the AA deval. I'd say if you can do EK F within 2016, do QR now because itll be much pricier soon. Otherwise, do EK F.

QR J is going up from 67.5 to 70...  Not a big deal.

That's the problem I'm grappling with. I've got a load of AA miles, which I want to use for my summer Thailand trip, before the deval. but the problem is I can't find any F space whatsoever. And for J, I only found CX, and now this.

Qe haven't flown in any first class yet, only business class, so either way is an experience for us. It's just about getting best value out of my AA miles now.
