Even if you may get stuck with a middle in a full cabin and no double bed?

Question is do you reserve a middle in hopes that the other one stays empty, and there's an empty window, or do you reserve the window and hope the 2 middles seats stay open?

Or option number 3. Go unethical and make sure it remains empty

Let's say we want to stick with options 1 or 2 (FWIW,5/12 seats are taken including mine, 3C).

Bigger chance of middle next to you being empty then both empty. Unless the flight is sold out who in their right mind will pick a middle seat next to someone rather then a window seat?

That was my thought. If it suddenly fills up I'll try to change to a window. Now I'm just keeping a potential couple from sitting together.

Both flights HKG-SIN and SIN-HKG were both sold out. No double beds

I am, I am not complaining one bit. Actually quite surprised. The CX F ORD-HKG was also booked solid.

For the next saga in this unique routing, we have our special reporter reporting live from Sydney where the weather is a beautiful 85 degrees and sunny.

Thank you kind text, this is Chucksterace (Not Chuck as some of you say), reporting from Sydney.

To continue the report, we previously left off in Hong Kong right before our Singapore A380 Suites from HKG to SIN to SYD. While this report maybe shorter than previous one, the pictures here do all the talking. So sit back, take off those reading glasses, and enjoy the show.

Upon getting to the airport and checking in I received the ever so covenant "Private Room" invitation.

SQ A380 Suites Boarding Pass and Private Room Invitation.

Acting like a kid in a candy store, I starting taking as many pictures as possible. I can't believe it took this long to fly in the Suites but the moment finally came true.

.

SQ Suites Aisle

SQ Suites Pajama Kit

SQ Suites Amenity Kit

Finally, while in the sky, I decided to host a game of hide and seek. Soon after we starting I was nowhere to be found and claimed a quick victory. Thank you doors.

Starting to play Hide and Seek

Hide and Seek Victory!!

Inside those door, after claiming an easy victory, it was soon time for a nap. Thanks to the SQ Crew for setting me up with bed mode and a couple of teddy bears to help me fall asleep

SQ Bed with a few Friends

Finally, upon landing in Singapore I took off to enjoy the lounge or even better, the Private Room. Located within the business class lounge, and then within the first class lounge, you finally find a secret passageway to the famous Private Room.

Located within the business class lounge

Inside the business class lounge is the first class lounge

And finally, inside the first class lounge, inside the business class lounge, is the Private Room.

As the room suggests, The Private Room, everything that happened inside has to remain Private. I wish I can share pictures and stories, however, do to the nature of the activity, it cannot be shared.

At this point, I will end this segment. In all, SQ Suites was heaven, or even possibly above heaven, if only the bed was a bit more comfortable. However, those teddy bears help equal that out, so in my book, it can still be recommended.

I hope you enjoyed the update. Until next time, this is Chucksterace, OUT.
