Nice way to handle it. Still can't exactly comprehend the 4 jacks thing. You've got 4 guys each holding a jack and trying to wheel a car away and then you basically "drive/wheel" the car until you finding a parking spot in Brooklyn???

Just reading this thread...was very impressed with how Venilla handled the situation.

But makes me wonder regarding the old man - if that's how he parks, it's kind of scary to think that he's still driving.
1) Thanks! 2) I told that to his daughter.

Yes, almost like that... I have a relative a Chaveirim member so he offered his help. We didn't wheel the car on the road, we were waiting for the spot next to our driveway to clear and I parked there to hold the spot, when all was ready I pulled out and we moved the car just one spot.
I like vanilla but my name is Venilla.

Ah, that's a smarter idea. Although, I think it's impressive that you were able to grab the spot in front of your house by waiting. By me, I would never be able to do that. Who knows when the person will pull out? (Except before alt side, but I'm at work then.)

So here it goes. I finally got around to show to my Rav the above PESAK based on the Chazun Ish. The Rav knowing the Chazon Ish well was shocked. When anybody here will actually look up the Chazun Ish and read the whole thing (which is not long at all) will see that the above Poisek just plain and simple took the Chazun Ish out of context. Well, my rav was Dan lekaf zechus that the Poisek just by mistake didn't see the whole Chazun Ish. But my feeling says that he took it out of context just because he wanted to be RIGHT. Well, I hope that is not the case....

In any case I will wait for Vanilla and give him a chance to talk to his Rav while everyone here looks up the Chazun Ish by him self. Before looking up the Chazun Ish I will give you a hint what the main part iss that the above Poisek missed.

*blocking a driveway is a HUGE Chutzpah and you are a real Puysheah. To say "nah the guy who owns the driveway probably does not care, he will probably have no issues. He will just check my leasing company and try to find my number and then he will call me up and will ask me nicely to move my car. Everyone knows this is non sesne. Everyone knows that people get very mad when they come home after a day work and find a blocked driveway. Now everyone is welcome to check out the Chazun Ish. I hope Vanilla will come back and say that his Rav is finally stepping down. If not ill have the Rav write up a Pesak.

If a rabbi gives a wrong Pesak he has to acknowledge that he was wrong. It's not a complicated Shaileh where there are different opinions, it's a case where someone intentionally or unintentionally toke the Chazum Ish out of context.

Now what?
You can say what you think when you think what you say.

Well, to make it easier I will upload the Chazun Ish. And highlight where most applicable....
