Spirit lost luggage

I flew to fll on spirit on Jan 13 and my bag got lost. They still haven't found it. I filed a claim as soon as I could (they make you wait 5 days) and I was wondering if anyone has had their luggage lost by spirit and what their experience was / any tips for me.

Also, I paid for the actual tickets with an Amex brilliant and for the bags with a Chase Sapphire. Amex terms says you need to pay for the entire fare and chase says partial fare. Are bags included in the entire fare? Worst case amex will say you didn't pay for the bags and so it's not entire fare and chase will say bags aren't part of the fare and both will deny :)

Basically looking for any advice or past experiences. Thanks!!
