it says there is a fee if u close it before 3 months

the reason someone would close it, is if they dont have $2500 lying around

Sure, 4% for up to $10K with tons of hoops to jump through to open it and maintain that rate.

i just read through this thread and t&c on BD site and cant seem to find the answer - with bill pay bonus and visa check card bonus - what are the requirements? every month (as per Dan saying he has a set $1 payment) for how long? the entire year to receive the 5,000? thanks

It took me a little more than a week, I called them and they said they were very backlogged.

I noticed teh requirements for the bonus points got stricter...like crazy spending and bill pays for long amounts of months, so i never opened the account....Was it always that way or they changed it when they started dropping big amounts of miles?
