Fly Virgin for service or American for status?
« on: December 18, 2015, 09:29:05 AM »
I have started traveling for business as of late and I'd like to start building status with an airline (American is my current choice). On my next trip, I have the choice of flying Virgin or American.

The question is: Is it better to go for the pleasant experience on Virgin or fly on American since its the airline I am looking to build status with?

I currently have no status with either airline.

It's a short, nothing flight.  If not on this kind of flight, then when?
(If status is your goal.)
