United/Chaser is offering 50k after 2k spend via targeted mailers.

However PointsCentric is reporting that if you buy anything form MPX Portal (Think Amex Airline credit

), you will receive targeted offer 2-3 weeks later.

Would this work if you froze your cr and you are not getting any targeted offers for the next 5 years?

Also as I've done several times. In Chrome, sign in to an United account with points, then go to this link: https://www.theexplorercard.com/50kAFW, press apply now, then highlight first name, right click, inspect element, and change it, do the same with last name and FFN.

Since when does freezing your CR stop you from getting cc offers?

when i froze my ex in august they sent me a letter that i wont receive offers for the next 5 years

I don't think this will help, the letter says "we removed you from our mailing list" for me it seemed to be a separate thing. Please CMIIW.

Yes it's possible. Go to optoutprescreen.com which is the website you opt out, and you can opt in again. Not sure if it works though, I have no 1st hand experience.

Opting out of marketing offers through the CRA's has nothing to do with other companies nor existing creditors.
