Why is bad information good to have?

It's not bad info. Weight doesn't just fluctuate for no reason. There's a reason weight jumps up. It might something I ate is causing my body to retain water and make me bloated. Even though the weight should fall off easily- it would be helpful if I could pinpoint just what it is.

And what if I weigh myself next week just on the day that the weight jumps up for some reason. I'd be devastated instead of seeing the losing trend the past few days.

You are not missing out on anything, besides a recipe from Wayfe on low carb Hot Sauce, and me whining about not losing anything  :'(
Iv'e heard that If one gets stuck on a diet and the scale gives you the same number every time you weigh yourself, it may help to take a one day break from the diet and eat tons (they called it a loading day) of sugar, fats, and carbs literally every 2-3 hours of the day and then get back on the diet.

Never tried it so I'll let others comment.

That's the idea behind a cheat day.

So my not taking a cheat day is only doing me harm? I find that hard to believe.

I'll let Wayfe answer that but if you anyway have a hard time losing weight, maybe you should give it a try?

I wouldn't dfinitively say it is the lack of a cheat day that causing it. But the cheat is supposed to help avoid a plateau. Yet most people only plateau after  a few weeks of nice weight loss.

You are also consuming very, very little calories- no?

You're also exercising a lot- no? It may very simply be that the muscle weight you're gaining is negating the fat loss.

No and yes, I'm exercising for a full hour two times a week, and trying to do some everyday. Not sure if it's enough to cause muscle gain.
And yes, I eat very little calories. I'll have to start copying your meals

There's no such thing as a cheat day. On the other hand there is something called a cheat meal.

If you cheat three full meals your losing more than what you gain by cheating in the first place. However with one meal your accomplishing all that had been mentioned.

That's not necessarily true.

Depends if you're male or female. Depends on how much and what you regularly eat. Depends on what and how much you cheated on. Depends on so many other factors.

There is a diet called Carbohydrate Addicts diet which is a low carb diet all day with one cheat meal allowed. You can eat all you want provided you eat equal amounts of protein and vegetable and consume it all within 1 hour.

For those of you who have no time to cook up healthy breakfasts-

Make a batch of these and keep them in an airtight container in the fridge. Pop into the microwave or into the oven and you've got a warm breakfast or perfect snack

I just finished my "cheat week" 3 days after I've dropped more than I gained.

I'm frustrated. After a few days of great losses the scale isn't moving. It's gone up in fact and seems to have parked itself at a very unsatisfactory number. I'm doing something wrong.

But I'm more determined than I've ever been before. Maybe it's just the time. Maybe it's your support. Maybe I'm doing it for my little baby. I'm not going to give up.

So we're tweaking and tuning and trying to find the right path. I'm thinking that in my excitement to diet I've overzealously cut out too many carbs. The program I'm following "The Slow Carb Diet" calls for a helping of carby (and fiber-y) legumes for at least 2 of the 3 meals a day. And I've completely ignored legumes so far. Truthfully, I've been feeling sated on just protein, fats and veggies- but then again my system is messed up. I already knew that.

So I'm adding some hearty lentils to a stew for dinner tonight (into the crock pot- so easy!). I'll sprinkle some peas onto my lunch steak, and hope, hope that it'll change things. Because I'm not throwing in the towel.

Increase Carbohydrates:  Wait, didn’t I just say reduce carbohydrates?  Well, that doesn’t always work and sometimes it backfires completely.  If you are already eating fairly low carbohydrate (say less than 50-75g per day), you might actually be going too low carb for your body.  Insulin is actually required for the conversion of the thyroid prohormone T4 to the active hormone T3.  Since thyroid hormone controls metabolism, increasing your carbohydrate intake a little to support thyroid function can actually help boost weight loss.  Other things that are good for supporting your thyroid are managing stress, getting enough sleep, and eating lots of seafood (for the iodine and the selenium).
