Kevarim
Jewish cemetery near the Old Powazki. Established in 1809, it is one of the largest Jewish cemeteries in the world. Spread over an area of nearly 44,000 square feet (3160 square meters), the cemetery was left largely intact by the Nazis and includes the graves and tombs of a quarter of a million people, including the great Rabbanim of Warsaw as well as many secular giants in literature and the arts.

The Jewish Ghetto
The infamous Warsaw Ghetto, the scene of the only organized uprising.
On the left side of the Praga River, where the Ghetto used to be, you can visit several monuments commemorating the Jews of Warsaw, including the Monument over the Ghetto Heroes at Zamenhof Square, and Umschlagplatz, a memorial raised at the very spot where Warsaw Jews were gathered in 1943, loaded on cattle wagons and transported to the death camp at Treblinka. It is still possible to see how Jews lived in Warsaw ulica Prozna, a street left largely intact from before the Holocaust.

Here's from Chabad website - http://m.chabadkrakow.pl/templates/articlecco_cdo/aid/1257635/jewish/Tours-and-drivers.htm

If you want a driver just for the Jewish area in Krakow, it's really unnecessary. Everything is very close together and walkable.

Today I went to warsaw and gur.  In warsaw I went to the bais hachaim and the chidushei harim's residence and bais medrash. In gur I went to the ohel of the chidushei harim and sfas emes, and to the bais medrash which is under construction. I had a driver waiting in the airport and took us to the above places. If anyone wants some info i'd be happy to share.

We spent 3 days in Poland in January.  We were determined to make it a controlled experience and not a nonstop touring experience resulting in an exhausting return – which we could not afford.
We were in London for a family simcha and had arranged our ticket with points. I realized that even though it was  a reward ticket it would cost us over $200 dollars in airport fees to leave from London. I saw  that leaving from any other Europ[ean airport would be cheaper so we took a Ryanair flight to Cracow  at about $75.  I would advise you to pay more to reserve a seat with more legroom.  Even so, we paid under $100 one way. A pre-ordered driver met us at the Cracow airport and took us to Oswiecim/ Auschwitz.  From there we traveled back to the Holiday Inn/ Cracow and had a kosher supper.
The next morning, a taxi from the hotel took us to the Remah shul and old cemetery and then to the train station for an express train to Warsaw at a cost of $50 per person,  It took  2 and half hours, had first class seats, and was a smooth and safe trip.  At the Warsaw train station,  a driver met us again and took us straight to Ger where we went to the cemetery and the kever of the Chidushei Harim and the Sfas Emes.  We passed the Gerrer shul and the Rebbe’s house. In Warsaw we were dropped of at   the Sofitel- Victoria which was an amazing experience!  A beautiful room with  fabulous service and a stunning pool to boot. . Supper at the Galil was walking distance form the hotel and a so so experience.
Our return the next morning was cancelled due to the blizzard that wasn’t; so we had an extra day in Warsaw. We went to the royal palace and got a taste of royalty in the 1700’s.  Then a taxi ride took us to the Warsaw cemetery where we made it to the kever of R’ Chaim Brisker and the Netziv.
A warm supper and restocking of chocolate and cookies for the flight took place at Chabad Warsaw, which is a beautiful place. We then shopped a bit at the Acadia mall across the street which had fabulous shopping.
We left the next morning to NYC via Frankfort with airport taxes at just $75 per person. I felt safe at all times and had many thought provoking experiences. It was, all in all, an incredible trip.
