Kevarim
Jewish cemetery near the Old Powazki. Established in 1809, it is one of the largest Jewish cemeteries in the world. Spread over an area of nearly 44,000 square feet (3160 square meters), the cemetery was left largely intact by the Nazis and includes the graves and tombs of a quarter of a million people, including the great Rabbanim of Warsaw as well as many secular giants in literature and the arts.

The Jewish Ghetto
The infamous Warsaw Ghetto, the scene of the only organized uprising.
On the left side of the Praga River, where the Ghetto used to be, you can visit several monuments commemorating the Jews of Warsaw, including the Monument over the Ghetto Heroes at Zamenhof Square, and Umschlagplatz, a memorial raised at the very spot where Warsaw Jews were gathered in 1943, loaded on cattle wagons and transported to the death camp at Treblinka. It is still possible to see how Jews lived in Warsaw ulica Prozna, a street left largely intact from before the Holocaust.

Sorry, assumed WAW was clear. Came back with 1:15 just to be safw, which was good because passport line was quite long. Flight was delayed though so all is good.

Why is the intercontinental the only hotel in the wiki? Anything wrong with the other brands?

According to Godaven, they have 3x/day, but we unfortunately weren't there during minyan times, so no personal experience to confirm: https://www.godaven.com/shul-details/1536

Hi,  does anyone know if kosher delight in Warsaw and in Lublin are walk in restaurants or does food need to be ordered in advance? I’ve tried e-mailing them but not getting anywhere. Also as an FYI, Galil is no longer a restaurant, they only do catering now.

I did a walk in no problem. Fun fact, we were also the only customers that night.

Shuls? Chabad-issacs is closed, Rema is open during regular museum hours. Chabads minyunim are now at Zeligs Place

https://www.chabadkrakow.org/Templates/Fundraising/Default_cdo/aid/4428988

On Monday 28 Sivan as the congregants of the Izaak Shul came for morning prayers they were shocked to find  themselves locked out of the Shul by masked armed guards.

This is the only Shul in Krakow where there are 3  daily Tefilot, Torah learning, special holiday  events and is a place that every Jew from anywhere in the world can come in, drink a coffee daven and learn some Torah.

At present we are left with no Shul to pray in (as well as no access to our Talis and Tefilin and Sifrei Torah, forcing us to daven without them. The issue right now is in the courts  and the judges are due to decide any day now whether to return the building to the congregants .

Legal fees are amassing so we have no option but to turn to you for help and support.

Please don't stand idly by and watch the destruction of the Jewish community; we desperately need your help! Help us return to our Shul to continue our religious activities.

In your merit you will receive heavenly blessings, the souls of the righteous tzadikim will bless your actions.

For a $180 donation we will make a dedicated prayer for you and your family while standing next to the resting place of the Rema and the Tosfot Yomtov for one week.

For a $360 donation we will pray for the welfare of your family at the resting place of the Rema and the Tosfot Yomtov for 2 weeks.

For a $1800 donation we will pray for your family at the site of the holy Rema and Tosfot Yomtov for 40 days!

If you are interested in a bit more than just visiting kevarim in Krakow and would like to see and learn a bit about the city check out:
https://freewalkingtour.com/krakow/tours/free/old-town-krakow/
We had Big Tom/Tomasz as our guide, a trained historian and an awesome guide. He spoke fluent English, was very engaging, entertaining and very knowledgeable about his city. The walking tour was almost 3 hours, so it may be difficult to do with small kids. You tip at the end.
We also went for a Jewish tour with the same company (different guide), it was also nice, but considering that I knew everything they had to say on that tour I found the old city tour more educational.
Anyway, if you are in Krakow find Big Tom and say hello, he was great.
(fyi: the walking tour did not go into any of the churches)

Sounds great! I've found most tip only walking tours in Europe to be pretty good.
Did you visit Auschwitz? I'm going in September and considering hiring a driver/guide.
