There is an early account termination fee, account needs to be open and in good standing for six months. If you close the account before then, I'd imagine they'd take back the bonus (if you have a zero balance, they would report a negative $250 balance to ChexSystems).

Supposedly if you use promo code "online" it will still work. I am going to open one for DW so I will TARB/TOFTT/etc

Was originally working, but lots of datapoints to suggest that the one bonus per household is being enforced now.

what about the same person but in a different household. I already opened one with my home address and was thinking about doing one for my dorm address.

Yep... Her app was just declined not much detail given though... I e-mailed them back but not expecting much.

you should still be able to open the Acct even if you're not eligible for the bonus
